SER CAPITAL Erase una vez que el vino y demás, era algo bueno y que servía tanto, para la economía, de un buen y remoto país del Mediterráneo… En el cual hubo una vez una capital de aquel lejano reino; que digo reino, en sus tiempos antiguos, no muy lejanos llegó a ser hasta imperio, pero Imperio con mayúscula, aunque la realidad de la historia mundial, realmente cuenta que en esos tiempos, que esta ciudad fue la capital de aquel Imperio, no tuvo mucha ni tanta importancia en el conjunto de esa época, como le viene y le está ocurriendo en estos nuevos tiempos, que está teniendo el conjunto del planeta. Pero ser capital, no solo es el nombre, aunque a los orgullosos habitantes de aquella “vieja” capital, solo les baste eso, y lo han ido demostrando ante los que les han ido visitando y ha ido intentando ser integrados, en dicha sociedad, a lo largo de su historia, ya larga y en verdad nunca fueron bien aceptados, por el conjunto de los habitantes de aquella capital de aquel viejo imperio. Como cuento solo les basta a los habitantes, de esa capital, ser eso simplemente habitantes pero de allí, de la vieja capital de un país lejano del mar Mediterráneo, que en tiempos pretéritos, según ellos fueron el centro del mundo conocido. También como se narra en el texto de la semana anterior en este mismo periódico, en aquel país se intentaba vender sus productos, provenientes de su mayor fuerza económica, que era y es la agricultura, dado que otros sectores son en ese país marginales, como lo son la industria pesada o ligera, la investigación en distintos campos ¿investigación para qué? O lo que en un gran tiempo, en muchos países de su entorno lo fue el turismo, que en este país y en esa capital, como le ocurrió o otros lugares, todo eso se desmandó, eso sí siendo colonizados por otras culturas, de una manera económica, haciendo que en este país se tuviera que volver a la agricultura, pero mejor dicho, una infra-agricultura que mal-vendía sus productos a países terceros, que durante un corto tiempo les fueron comprando casi todo, o sea que se basó su frágil y debilitada economía, solo en un punto en la exportación de sus productos más básicos y entre estos estaba el vino.  En ese país y en esa vieja capital de aquel país, ocurrió un hecho muy estudiado en los anales, por otros países, para ver los errores que se fueron cometiendo uno tras otro, derivado quizá en parte de actitudes muy cargadas de orgullo de lo que fue algo en los tiempos lejanos, incluso siglos atrás. El hecho estudiado, era que como en el ejemplo, el vino, era un producto muy “bueno”, pero la paradoja de este estudio fue que durante muchos años, cientos, este producto el vino, se decía a los compradores de fuera que era muy bueno y en ese país no se bebía vino, como producto de consumo más importante, la paradoja insisto era que bebía más otras cosas, como las cervezas traídas de países del norte, o los destilados en combinación, traídas también por grandes compañías internacionales de otros países, que incluso en esos otros países se consumía más vino que en ese mismo país. Es vieja capital de ese país, también durante tiempos más cercanos llego a ser la capital de un área, muy importante en cuanto a la producción de productos agrícolas, y uno de ellos era el vino, y en esa vieja capital, se consumía en sus establecimientos de hostelería, más esos otros productos que el propio vino, que se producía al lado suyo, y que los costes de transporte eran ínfimos, pero eso si sus orgullosos habitantes, estaban muy contentos de tomar otras “cosas”, hasta que llegó el declive final de ese remoto país y cómo no, de esa capital. ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++  THE C.I.V.A.
