___ Identificados los progenitores de la uva Tempranillo /2-3/

__Estudios de ADN en la uva__En el trabajo se ha utilizado tanto el análisis de ADN como datos morfológicos e históricos que permitieran caracterizar las relaciones genéticas del Tempranillo, identificando a sus progenitores y también a sus descendientes.

__El equipo del ICVV-La Rioja ha realizado el análisis de determinados marcadores de ADN significativos en la colección de variedades de vid del IMIDRA (compuesta por unos 3.400 ejemplares de vid), cuyos investigadores también han realizado el estudio morfológico e histórico de la investigación.

__La investigación ha incorporado también una búsqueda de variedades derivadas del Tempranillo. Partiendo de una base de datos que contiene la mayor parte de las variedades españolas sólo se identificó una, el Coloraíllo, como un posible descendiente del Tempranillo y de la Moravia Dulce (variedad también conocida como Marufo o Brujidera). En este caso se ha identificado al Tempranillo como el progenitor masculino. Además, para cada uno de los padres del Tempranillo se han identificado otras variedades españolas relacionadas: Albillo Mayor está relacionado con Castellana Blanca y Benedicto con Benedicto Falso de Aragón.

__El estudio contribuye a ilustrar la necesidad de preservar variedades antiguas, especialmente aquellas que ya no se cultivan, como se ha hecho en El Encín, instalación dependiente del IMIDRA que gestiona la colección nacional de variedades de vid, y en otros repositorios de todo el mundo.

__Este hallazgo permitirá obtener nuevas variedades mejor adaptadas al entorno climático o geográfico; o con mejores características vitícolas

__La identificación de los padres del Tempranillo permite en primer lugar ratificar científicamente el origen autóctono de esta variedad. Además esta información puede servir para obtener nuevas variedades relacionadas que se adapten adecuadamente a nuevos entornos climáticos y geográficos, o que ofrezcan nuevas o mejores características de interés vitícola y enológico.

__RESEARCHERS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LA RIOJA HAVE IDENTIFIED THE PROGENITORS OF THE TEMPRANILLO GRAPE AMONG VARIETIES OF MINORITY VIRUSES IN THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE EBRO VALLEY. ARE THE BELLY AND BENEDICT.
__DNA studies in the grape
In the work, both DNA analysis and morphological and historical data have been used to characterize the genetic relationships of Tempranillo, identifying their progenitors and also their descendants.
__The ICVV-La Rioja team has carried out the analysis of certain significant DNA markers in the IMIDRA collection of vine varieties (composed of some 3,400 grapevines), whose researchers have also carried out the morphological and historical study of the research.
__The research has also incorporated a search for varieties derived from Tempranillo. Starting from a database containing most of the Spanish varieties, only one was identified, Coloraíllo, as a possible descendant of Tempranillo and Moravia Dulce (a variety also known as Marufo or Brujidera).
